Starting in 2010 all animals eligible for the KY Proud Points and additional KY Proud premium money from District shows must be identified with the new “KY Proud ID” blue tag. Producer’s who sell breeding or market animals to youth livestock exhibitors must enroll in the program and can purchase tags for $5 each to be placed in those animals that qualify. Youth exhibitors who raise their own show animals may also enroll in the program and purchase a tag (s) for their respective species.

Livestock Club members will receive county fair market animal show updates during their next meeting at 6:30pm February 14th at the Extension Office. Leaders will announce changes in showmanship age divisions and opportunities for younger novice enthusiasts. The education session will be presented by certified leaders Brian and Shaune Williams along with Shirley Ogden. A special “Valentine’s Day” Community Service Project will be presented by Ashley Walters.

- KY Beef Expo Judging Contest (2 Ed Hours) – Saturday, March 3rd
- Washington County Livestock Judging (2 Ed Hours) – Saturday, March 10th
- Feeding America – March 13th 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
- Clark County Livestock Judging Contest – March 24th
- KUIP Steers @ Hardin County Fairgrounds – March 30th
- Adopt-A-Highway – April 3rd @ Extension Office
- Livestock Judging Clinic in Marion County – 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4th. They will have a class of steers, heifers, goats and market lambs. Warren Beeler will be guest speaker.

- Variety Show February 18th- Members wishing to participate will need to register by call the Extension Office 765-4121 no later than Friday February 10th
- Next Business Meeting February 14th- 6:30 pm at the Extension Office- a brief business meeting will be held following our education lesson hosted by Brian & Shaune Williams and Shirley Ogden- Ashley Walters will also present a special "Valentine's Day" Community Service Project
