
4H Youth Development : Clubs
Bobbins Sewing Club
The 4-H Bobbins Afterschool Sewing Club is for youth ages 9-18, beginner OR advanced (1+ years 4-H sewing experience) and will help guide youth as they begin or continue learning various sewing techniques as well as complete a 4-H Clothing Project in the spring. Bobbins will be taught by several area Master Clothing Volunteers, as well as other sewing instructors from Hardin County. All club meetings for 2010-11 will be on the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of each month, September thru April from 4:00-::00 p.m. at the Extension Office. Please see scheduled dates below so you can plan ahead! Due to the number of sewing machines available, size is limited so please contact the Extension Office to confirm your participation. If you have any questions regarding Bobbins or any 4-H sewing project, please contact 4-H agent, Marla Stillwell.
Fall 2010 Dates: September 15, October 13, November 17, and December 8.
Spring 2011 Dates: January 12, February 16, March 9 and April 13.
Additional Workdays: April 4-8 (Spring Break 4-H Open Sewing)
